Classics that will withstand the test of time

2011- Modern Day Princess Catherine's classic gown by fashion label Alexander Mcqueen

2009- The Phoenix Gown from Fuchsia Lane's ETERNITY Collection.

This piece is hand embroidered for 3 months and studded with over 1000 Swarovski crystals. It is worn by MRS Singapore, Grace during the competition in Vietnam December 2009

Have you ever received a piece of dress or gown from your mother or aunt and it look just as good on you as it were on her many years ago? These are what we called classics. Every time I sketch something on a piece of paper and hold the sample in my hand, I will ask myself is this a piece of dress that will be cherished and glow with time like a beauty that you wont get tired of. The value of each piece is in the workmanship, made with time and pride. It doesnt need complication or superfluous details, like the memorable Givenchy black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tifanny. And like a watch brand's tagline ' you are merely looking after it for the next generation". I always tell my customers that you will look good in the piece now and 10 years later and even on your daughter. Need we say more.
